Home Depot prohibits pets after the bite of cross nose

Home Depot is less pets of its points of sale Canadian, following an incident last week in Ottawa when a greeter shop had the tip of his nose bitten off the coast by dog of a client.

Home Depot Canada issued a statement on Thursday explaining that the new company non-animaux policy was "the best decision for the enjoyment of shopping and the safety of all customers.

The United States Home Depot locations not be affected by the change.

Dogs assistance alone, certified as those required to guide the visually impaired, will always be allowed inside.

In the statement, Home Depot Canada said the new policy was communicated to all stores and will take effect beginning on 16 May.

"To help our valued customers to adapt to this change in the coming weeks, we will work with our customers to inform them of this new policy," said the statement.

Anna Riel, an employee of Home Depot for 39 years in Gloucester, East of Ottawa, was customers Welcome to the store last Friday when she bent down to pat Shih Tzu of an old woman maneuvered in a shopping cart.

The little dog leaped to Riel, biting off the coast of a small part of his nose. She is bleeding and was transported to the hospital.

Despite the facial reconstruction surgery, Riel declared that his face will be never the same. It is considering legal action against the owner of the animal.
