9/11 families call plan of N.Y. memorial "unacceptable".

Some relatives of those who died in the terrorist attacks of September 11 are not satisfied with plans for a Memorial in New York.

They are in disagreement with a plan to place more nine - thousand unidentified pieces of human remains in an underground site at the National September 11 Memorial and Museum.

Some families who lost loved ones say human beings this plan is unacceptable.

A lawyer for the families, said they believe that the remains should be placed in a location accessible and respectable - above ground and separate from the Museum.

Norman Siegel, explains families can consider an action in the future, but they have no current plans to bring an action.

A woman who lost his son to the World Trade Center, said firefighter families had not been consulted on where the remains would be placed.

But a woman who lost her husband in the attacks and worked as liaison between the Mayor of New York and the 9/11 families said that there was great awareness and parents said that they wanted the remains as close to the bedrock as possible.
